Grinding in a controlled environment

macina e recupero
Grinding in a controlled environment and separation of output, delivery of reclaimed equipment onto special conveyor belts (purchased using grant obtained), using a special hopper located above the grinder.

Prior to entering the special hopper, a flexible tunnel equipped with flaps is attached to completely enclose the end part of the conveyor belt and load. This hopper is fitted with an automatic system with hydraulic shutter which is actioned in order to create a holding chamber between the inside of the grinder and the external environment. The command is given by a photocell which signals the presence of an object (fridge or air conditioner) inside the chamber between the two shutters. This signal controls the closure of the external shutter.
The hopper, in direct contact with the grinding zone of the fridge, is fitted with a socket for the extraction of dust and the gases produced by the grinding motion, for their channelling towards the abatement system.

The entire process occurs in a controlled and depressurised environment, thanks to which polyurethane fractions are extracted and temporarily stored in a silo for the start of the permanent atomisation process. These are subsequently collected in an atomiser inside which CFC residue contained therein is sent to the abatement system subsequently described.
The polyurethane, atomised and free from components harmful to the ozone, is then collected in a "briquette press" (machine purchased using the grant obtained) for suitable volumetric reduction.
